Where can I find web pages I have Liked?

Web pages you have Liked will be shown on the default view of your Profile page. You can use the drop down menu at the top of your Likes page to show you all your Likes by Photos, Videos, Additions or by Interest. When you show your Likes By Interest it will bring up list of all the different tags linked to each of your Likes. The tags will not be limited to the original Interests you selected and instead reflect all tags linked to any web pages you have Liked.

What happens when I Like a web page?

When you Like a web page it gets added to your Profile page creating an online collection of web pages you can easily access later and other Stumblers can view. Liking a page also tells us what to show you more of, improving the quality of your Stumbles. By adding a web page to your Likes, it will also be shared to your followers in the stream of web pages they see when Stumbling.

What if I Like a web page that isn’t in StumbleUpon?

Congrats! If you are the first person to add a specific web page to StumbleUpon, you will be listed as the adder for that web page on the Info page for that Stumble. You can see web pages you have added to our index under the Additions tab at the top of your profile page. Read here to learn more about adding web pages to StumbleUpon.

How do I find the web pages I have added to StumbleUpon?

On your Profile page select the Additions tab from the drop down menu in the center. This will display a list of the web pages you have personally added to StumbleUpon.

How do I remove a web page from my Likes? Can I undo a rating for a web page I have Disliked?

To delete a web page from your Likes, hover over the web page listing in your Likes and click X in the Stumble tile.

To undo a Like or Dislike for a web page:

1) Visit the page you initially Liked or Disliked. In the StumbleBar, the Like (or Dislike) button should be blue, indicating that you’ve already given your feedback about this web page.

2) Click the Like button once so it reverts to gray; when it’s gray, your rating has been removed.

I accidentally Liked and added my personal email account or sign in page – help!

If the page you accidentally Liked was the login page for your mail account, or a similar sign-up page, you need not worry – no one can access your mail without your password. All that another person can see if they visit that same address is the sign-in page (without your details). You can check this for yourself by signing-out of your mail account (for example) and then re-visiting the web page you Liked.

When should I Dislike a web page?

Disliking a web page can be a tough call. Get in the habit of Disliking web pages when you:

- Do not like an individual web page
- Are getting too many Stumbles from same Interest or domain (you’ll still see web pages from this Interest, but less frequently then before)
- Are shared web pages by other Stumblers that don’t match your Interests
- Stumble a web page very different from your selected Interests (note: if the page seems like it was miscategorized report it instead of Disliking it so we can correct the category)

Can I specify why I’m Disliking a web page?

Yes you can! Next to the “Dislike” button in your StumbleBar is a drop-down menu with more specific reasons you can pick for why you might not like a web page. Read more about these options and the StumbleBar here.

What are tags?

Tags are custom keywords which members may attach to specific Likes and comments. Labeling your Stumbles in this way makes the sites easier to find again – you can review all of the web pages that you have tagged in the By Interest tab on your Profile. Each Stumble can have up to 5 tags added. One of these is reserved for system use, and matches the Interest for that Stumble. The other 4 are personal tags and can be anything you choose – although you must ensure that your tags do not breach our Community Rules nor our Terms of Service. Each tag can be up to three words long (separated by spaces) and containing a maximum of 32 characters. Note: only pages you Like can be tagged. With the Explore Box, you can also Stumble by any tag or keyword you are interested in.

Can I add tags from the StumbleBar?

In any of the StumbleBars, click on the Comments bubble icon to bring up a screen where you can tag, comment, and share your comments to other social media networks you are connected to.

How do I edit tags for a Stumble?

To edit tags for a page you Liked, return to the page and click the Comments bubble icon to go to the Info page. Here you can add to or change your comments and tags in the editing box. Click the Save button when you are finished.

How do I find pages I’ve tagged with a particular keyword or phrase?
To find your tags go to Profile tab and click on the By Interest tab. Here your Interests and Tags with the most Likes will be shown at the top. You can search for a specific Interest or Tag in the search bar.

You can also see all of your tags in your Tag Cloud by clicking the Tag Cloud tab on your profile. These are presented in alphabetical order, the larger a tag's title is the more pages are tagged with that keyword.

How do I access my Likes via RSS feed?

Your Likes can be seen in XML format by going to http://www.stumbleupon.com/rss/stumbler/USERNAME/likes/, just replace USERNAME with the username you wish to view.

What are these suggestions I am receiving in the StumbleBar?

This is a feature called Personalized Suggestions. From time to time when you Like or Dislike a page, we make suggestions, such as proposing a new Interest to follow or a site from which you’d like us to recommend more content. If we detect that you don’t seem to like a topic, we might suggest that you stop following the Interest, or even block a domain entirely. The aim of this feature is to help you fine-tune your Stumbles and encourage you to Like and discover more.

How can I turn off Personalized Suggestions?

At this time this feature cannot be disabled. You can click the x on the suggestion box to hide the suggestion without taking any particular action on the suggestion posed. We welcome any feedback you have on this feature.
