How do I share web pages I find with others?
You can share web pages you find interesting with others through the Share button on your StumbleBar or from any web page tile shown on any StumbleUpon page.

The easiest way to share your favorite web pages with friends is by sharing directly to their StumbleUpon accounts. You and your friend must both be following each other in order to have sharing enabled (if only one of you is following the other you won’t be able to share!). Once you are both following each other, their StumbleUpon username will show up in your Share panel under the All Contacts tab. If you want to share outside of StumbleUpon you can also choose to share to a friend’s email address or one of your social networks.

My friend and I are following each other but our shares aren’t going through!
If you created your account before December of 2011, you might not have Sharing active with the other member in the old StumbleUpon. These settings carry over to the new version. Try unfollowing and then following the user.

Please contact us if this does not resolve the issue: http://www.stumbleupon.com/feedback

Can I share web pages to my social networks?
Yes! You can connect your Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn accounts for easy sharing to friends on these networks. When you want to share to one of these networks, just click on the button for your connected account in the StumbleBar or check the corresponding box on the bottom of the Share panel.

Can I share web pages directly to other Stumblers?
Yes. After you have found your friends or connected with other Stumblers on StumbleUpon, make sure you are both following each other to enable sharing. When you are on a web page you want to share, you can then open your Share panel and click the Most Shared or All Contacts tabs to find the Stumbler you wish to share to.

How do I share web pages with friends not on StumbleUpon?
First off, if your friends are not on StumbleUpon you should definitely invite them! Otherwise, you can choose to share to a friend’s email by entering their email address under the To tab in the Share panel.

Can I block shares from another member?
Yes. Next time you receive an unwanted shares from a Stumbler you can take steps to block all shares from them. Once you open the share, a panel will open beneath the StumbleBar listing who the share was from, a personal message if they have entered one and a link to “Stop shares from this user” on the far right. Clicking on this link will block any future shares from this member.

How do I see shares other members send me on StumbleUpon?
If another Stumbler sends you a direct share to your StumbleUpon account, an orange number will show up to the left of the “Home” button in the top right of your StumbleBar. This number represents all of your notifications (shares, updates and messages) you have waiting. Clicking on this number will show you your most recent shares and who are they are from. I have a lot of shares waiting for me to look at. Can I clear all my unseen shares?

I’m seeing a “Seen all shares” message, but have pending share notifications, what’s up?
If you are seeing this message you have been logged into different browser or devices when viewing your shares and StumbleUpon still needs to sync up. Restart your browser and clear your cache to help StumbleUpon get up to speed across devices and browsers.
